ADHD is a problem with inattentiveness, over-activity, impulsivity, or a combination. For these problems to be diagnosed as ADHD, they must be out of the normal range for a child's age and development.

I've still got it on my DVR-I need to finish it before the meeting. Are we going to use it for discussion points? Shall I bring the plethora of post-its? Hey! There's news on the chicken front, too!

I saw part of it, haven't finished it yet. My daffter watched all of it, and enjoyed it very much. I enjoyed seeing faces for some of the big-name authors whose books I've been reading for years. And ya gotta love the "aboots" and "eh"s thrown in for us Americans.

One caveat that I have discovered in working with families is that fidgets that look like balls will often not have the desired effect. I use colorful fidget balls so that I can get a child to show me and his parents that kind of behaviors that got them to my office in the first place!

So, avoid fidgets that look like balls or they will be most likely thrown!

My husband Dan is a big fan of the kneadable erasers because they are easy to fidget with and are a normal part of the classroom so don't require any kind of accommodation.

Viva la fidget!
